Israel envoy calls on Modi

Mumbai-based Israel’s consul general Oma Sangiv today called on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
During the meeting, the CM and the consul general discussed a range of issues relating agriculture, water conservation and science and technology and how a mutually fruitful partnership can be forged between Gujarat and Israel.
Modi invited Israel to become country partner in the “Krishi Mahotsav” organised by the state government annually, said a government release.
The consul general sought information about the functioning of the police university and forensic science university set up by the state government, the release stated.
