Somnath Light and sound show to be upgraded in 3 D version, to have Big B’s voice

The popular light and sound show of the Somnath temple will have the voice of legendary actor Amitabh Banchchan, Somnath Temple Trust General Manager Vijay Chawda today said.
‘It has been decided to upgrade the show which was started in 2001. The current version has voices of bollywood actors Amrish Puri and Paresh Raval. The next show in a three dimensional (3 D) version will have Amitabh Bachhan’s voice. The tourism corporation of Gujarat has already talked to Mr. Bachhan in this regard and he has given his nod,’ he said.
The whole affair might take 6 to 8 months to take shape. Currently the script is being prepared. The dubbing is likely to take place in two to three months, the GM of the historic temple, deemed first among the 12 jyotirlingas of lord shiva situated on the bank of Indian ocean in Prabhas Patan of Gir-Somnath district of Gujarat, said.
Notably, the Big B is also the brand ambassador of Gujarat tourism and his ‘Khushbu Gujarat Ki’ ad has attracted numerous to this western state.
The laser based light and sound show, which throws light on the historic back ground of the temple also famous for its grandeur, is organized after evening aarati behind the temple and is very popular among visitors.
