Gandhinagar Election Commission in Gujarat has taken a decision to offer e-voting option to voters in upcoming Municipal Corporation elections of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Jamnagar across all wards, it is learnt. Ahmedabad As per a new delimitation announced today by state election commission, the total number of wards in Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is down from 68 to 48. Each ward will have 4 seats, two will be reserved for woman. Thus there will be total 192 seats. As per year 2011 census the city has 55,77,940 population.
