Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad city district education office has introduced a program aimed at teaching students of classes 6 to 12 the philosophy of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita through verse recitation in local schools. This program builds on the earlier inclusion of select verses from the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in the curriculum by providing audio lessons. Gandhinagar: The Gujarat assembly today unanimously passed a resolution requesting the state government to take necessary steps for effective implementation of the education department's recent decision to teach 'Bhagavad Gita' in schools.
