Ahmedabad: The Gujarat Vidyapith has made revisions to its constitution to limit the number of trustees and the tenure of the chancellor. Under the amendments coming into effect last month, the Gujarat Vidyapith Governing Council (Mandal) reduced the maximum number of members (trustees) on its board from 25 to 17 and extended their terms from three to five years. Amdavad: Gujarat Vidyapith decided to end the rule of mandatory hostel stay for the students on Monday in a meeting of the Gujarat Vidyapith trustee board.
