Gandhinagar: Gujarat government arm, Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. has acquired 7.28% stake in Torrent Power Ltd by having 3.5 crore shares via off-market deals on Sept. 25, Torrent said in an exchange filing on Thursday. Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) had released a list of 16 sites reserved for Pumped Hydro Storage Projects (PHP). These sites will eventually allocated through a competitive bidding process to benefit state public discoms.
