It had begun on September 29 from Kutch. Like earlier seven years it has been delayed this year also. Gandhinagar: The spell of light to moderate rain and convective storm in some parts of Gujarat continued today as well with Amreli in Saurashtra seeing over half an inch of rain. Gandhinagar: Due to situation arising out of scanty rains in Gujarat, Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani declared as many as 16 tehsils, which included 10 from arid Kutch district, followed by four from Banaskantha and one each from Patan and Ahmedabad, as the scarcity affected areas with implementation effect from October 1st.
