Surat: A hydraulic launcher crane involved in the ongoing Surat Metro train project collapsed today in the Nana Varachha area of the city. The incident occurred this evening in the Chikuwadi area when the crane, while hoisting a span onto a metro corridor pillar, twisted and collapsed onto a nearby bungalow. Surat: A span of the under-construction elevated metro corridor in Surat has bent down. The span of the under-construction bridge on the Saroli-Kadodara road has developed cracks and has tilted to one side. Iron rods beneath the cement surface are visible due to this damage.
