In Ahmedabad: A Traveling Cow With Five Legs (Video)

Ahmedabad, DeshGujarat

Cow with five legs? Yes, here is a video of a strange cow that DeshGujarat.Com found at a deserted ground in Ahmedabad recently. This cow along with its caretakers was on a journey from its place of origin that is Pandharapur in Maharashtra to Ranuja in Rajasthan. On the way of its journey this cow and its owner Raghunath Goswami halted with their family members in Ahmedabad establishing a tent on the open ground where we captured this video.

Raghunath Goswami has named this cow ‘Radha’. He said that Radha was like this since its birth. People worship cows in India’s Hindu culture anyway. And this cow is extra ordinary because it has five legs, so people are more attracted towards it.

Raghunath Goswami frequently travels along with this Cow, his family members and a chariot, specially made by assembling water lifting diesel engine (for agricultural irrigation purpose) and body of old jeep. Raghunath claims that his self made vehicle can run at the speed of 50 kms per hour easily. On the chariot there is a huge painting of five leg cow, however in this painting Raghunath has shown fifth leg coming from the shoulder of the cow but in reality his cow has fifth leg on it’s backside between two normal legs. Raghunath’s sons told DeshGujarat that when they travel, they make their cow sitting in the chariot. They too sit with it at the same place. This cow is the most important family member of their family.

It is interesting to note that this cow ‘Radha’ has two holes for urinal in its body. Some people say that such a cow with fifth leg can rarely born originally. It is possible therefore that Raghunath may have made it like this surgically to lure people towards it who may donate some money too.

Interesting. Isn’t it?
