Idols rescued from Kashmir’s Jain Mandir,taken to Ahmedabad

Seven Jain idols are taken to Ahmedabad from Srinagar’s Baghawan Parshwanath Jain Mandir. The idols are at present, temporarily kept at Ahmedabad’s Sangath Jain derasar. They will be shifted to Sabarmati area’s Ramnagar based Jain Mandir this Sunday in festive atmosphere.
The Sunni islamist anti-nationals of Kashmir, recently destroyed a Jain Mandir located in Kashmir valley’s Srinagar city. However, before they could do any harm to the idols, tha Jain Mandir’s priest took the idols out of the Mandir and shifted them to safer place.
Just in two hours of relaxation of curfew, the idols were immediately taken out of the Kashmir valley and are not brought to Ahmedabad, where they will be installed at Ramnagar/Sabarmati based Jain Mandir this Sunday with ceremonial welcome.

It is a shame that the Murtis have to be removed to a safer place from the Srinagar Jain temple. Still we call ourselves a secular country. Perhaps in the eyes of the so called secularists “Secularism” means appeasement of minorities.
on top of it, Central Government is offering autonomy and economic package from tax payers of India. Simply with this Congress Government at center, I think every Gujarati should try to find ways and pay minimum central gov. taxes like income tax etc. Because here our money goes to corrupt politicians ans bureaucrats like Commonwealth Games Org. Committee and Delhi Govt. or to violent bastards of Kashmir. Why should we pay tax, in fact in such situation it is moral duty to find ways not to pay Income tax. On one hand they are hiking petrol prices to have money and on other hand they are taking money to their homes and to corrupt politicians and then flooding money to Kashmiri terrorists.
Jain Temple is secure in Muslim country like Malaysia but not in our own country Bharat, We must boycott travel to Kashmir. Kashmiries are depended on tourism, let them first rebuild Jain temple then only we should start travel to kashmir. Government will not do anything, we have to start by own.

What the govt want to do now? Their is no news about this things in any channel, news paper. And in our so called Non – religious country even if one small masjid (where no body offer prayers ) every corner of news paper and other media wwill call for action and tell shame.

Our country has always faced extravagant attacks especially on our Hindu shrines and Hindu women right from the Mughal rule. Same in Pakistan even today.Previously Mughals looted our temples, demolished our temples and sacred idols. They burnt our shastras from which smoke was emitted for months on a stretch. I would just like to mention one thing “How safe is a Hindu in Kashmir or any place in India where Hindu is in minority?” Kashmir was supposed to be a land of Hindu pandits. Where are they? Who is responsible for our fellow Pandits of Kashmir? Today Jains own maximum business in our country. Its very high time that Jains unite and raise their voice and action against all atrocities. We have become strangers in our own country and the days are not too far when even we could be forced to move out of our homes. No one will come to our rescue except ourself. Jammu and Kashmir govt to take on TOI for originally publishing this false news. “The news report about the burning of a Jain temple in Srinagar is absolutely baseless and it’s a mischievous report,” said Mehraj-ud-Din Kakroo, District Commissioner Srinagar. “It was not burnt and TOI will come out with a corrigendum,” said Jyotin Doshi, Chairman of Gem Tours, Mumbai, who facilitated the construction of the Jain temple in the Hotel told Kashmir Dispatch.
“The structure was broken; we don’t know by whom, we had a contract with the hotel for five years under which the temple was built on the hotel property,” he said.
“We don’t want to create enmity and request everybody to stop thinking about the matter. We have now installed the idols in Ahmedabad and there is nothing more I can say on this.”
