Against Hero Narendra Modi,Congress fields five Heroins on last day of campaign
Ahmedabad, 7 October, 2010

Against hero Narendra Modi, the opposition Congress party fielded five Heroins on the last day of civic election campaign in Gujarat.
The Congress party organized former actress Mahima Chaudhary’s road show in Rajkot, small-time TV actress Payal Rohtagi’s road show in Jamnagar, Aditi Govitrikar’s road show in Vadodara, Minisha Lamba’s road show in Ahmedabad, and actress Urvashi Sharma’s road show in Surat on last day of civic poll campaign.
It should be mentioned here that Gujarat BJP has fielded actress Smriti Irani, and actor/music director duo Mahesh-Naresh Kanodia in civic poll campaign. While Smriti is President of BJP’s national women cell, Mahesh Kaodia is former MP of the party, and Naresh Kanodia is former MLA.
Contrary to this, the Congress party has invited small-time or former actresses, who are not directly associated with the party, but are reportedly paid through an agency to campaign for the party.
Congress has also used Gujarati film heroins Roma Manek and Mona Thiba in civic election campaign. They too don’t have history of any association with Congress party.
