VV Nagar tense after Muslim youths kill a Hindu boy in public

A group of Muslim youths of Bakrol on Friday killed a Hindu school student in public in central Gujarat’s Vallabh Vidyanagar using baseball bats and pipes. The incident has created tension in this peaceful town known for its educational institutes.
According to information available at this stage, two groups of students in VV Nagar’s T.V.Patel High school had minor verbal argument over musical event in the campus. The arguments had ended but after some time one group of Muslim students came back with Bakrol’s Salman, Anis, Adil and other Muslim youths with pipes, swords, baseball bat and other handy weapons. The group of Muslims passed through the Bank of Baroda, Nana Bazaar and reached Mochi Bazaar. The group attacked one Vinay, Rameshbhai Rohit, Ramjibhai Major, Mahesh Solanki and Rohit Rameshbhai Gohel(21).
Of them Rohit Rameshbhai Gohel(21) died after he was attacked with pipe by one Salman and by baseball bat by Adil Malek. Rohit had come to VV Nagar with his friend Vinay for collecting donation to organize a mass wedding event of his community on 8 February in Gamdi village.
The markets were shut down after this incident.
Meanwhile Vinay Rathod(Gamdi, Trikamnagar) has filed a complaint against Muslim attackers.
