It’s 17th January tomorrow, and the city of Jaipur is going to witness a royal wedding of princess of Rajkot(Gujarat) and prince of Khivsar(in English it is written as Khimsar, Rajasthan).

Mrugeshakumari is known as a low profile, beautiful, simple, value oriented and intelligent girl in close circles. She is daughter of Mandhatasingh who formally joined the BJP couple of years back. Mrugeshakumari is grand daughter of former Gujarat minister Shri Manoharsinh Jadeja.

In her recent pre-wedding interview with a local newspaper in Jaipur, Mrugeshakumari said how she left using leather purses and non-veg food after watching an online video on cruelty on animals. She also said that she finds perfect match in Dhananjai. Mrugeshakumari in her interview said, she was nurtured with a message to keep the life as simplest as possible. She said she used to board a local train to reach her college in Mumbai instead of a drive in Merc.

Mrugeshakumari’s perfect man, 26-year old Dhananjai Singh the 21st descendant of the Khimsar Royal family. He is actively involved in running a big Khimsar palace(bigger than the famous palace of Jodhpur) which is majorly converted into a heritage hotel.

Dhananjai is in love withe his fort, nearby sand dunes and the Eco-system in and around Khimsar. He is very keen on his collection of vintage cars which includes four Rolls-Royces from the 1920s, including a 1920 Silver Ghost and a 1925 Phantom I, and a 1928 Lancia Lambda.

Dhananjai Singh’s father Gajendra Singh is Bharatiya Janatay Party MLA from Nagaur. Gajendra Singh was minister in BJP government in Rajasthan under the leadership of Vasudhara Raje Scindia.

Mrugesha is business management graduate from Mumbai’s Sapphire Institute of Management and Technology. Dhananjai Singh went to Mayo college in Ajmer and later went to Switzerland to study hotel management.

“I will wear a malmal achkan similar to what my grandfather had dressed in his wedding. I had seen one photograph of my grand father wearing makhmal achkan during his wedding. I decided that I would wear similar achkan on my wedding. We asked to reopen a store that was closed for many years. Fortunately the store had similar saffon color makhmal piece of textile, which was left out when my grand father’s dress was made there,” Dhananjai Singh said.

But how Dhananjai Singh was introduced to Mrugeshakumari? He answers, “last year we went to a wedding function in Kishangadh. There my mamaji took me to a family. I didn’t know what was happening. I saw her(Mrugeshakumari) for the first time there.”

“Our parents never pressurized us for any decision. When I met Mrugesha for the first time, I liked her simplicity the most. She is like my mother. No make-up, no showbaji. She is fond of social service too,” Dhananjai Singh added.

“They say I am very excited about my wedding, but I am feeling more responsible now compare to past,” he further said.

Dhananjai will be seen in a royal dress designed by fashion designer Raghvendra Rathor. The guests participating in this royal wedding, will also wear traditional dress of achkan, jewelry and will keep sword with them.
