Ahmedabad: A group of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation(AMC) officials and elected office bearers led by city Mayor today visited under-construction building in V.S. hospital campus. According to Mayor Rs 523 crore project is 60-70% over. At present frame work and structure work is completed while finishing work is going on. The project will be completed by the end of year 2017. It will have steel structure with 78 meter height that includes two basements, ground floor plus 16 floors – thus total 19 floor multi specialty public hospital with helipad/air ambulance facility, 1175 general bed, 250 ICCU bed and 150 paid bed – in total 1600 bed. AMC has merged 4.58 acre space in present 23 acre campus of V.S. hospital.
