Yet another person of Gujarati origin murdered in US

Mahesana: In yet another incident of killing of a person of Gujarati origin in the US, a native of Mahesana district living in Cardova community of Shelby County in the landlocked southern state of Tennessee, who had gone missing almost a week ago has been found murdered.
The family members of Sanjay Patel, a native of Aakhaj village in Mahesana who had migrated to the US almost two decades ago, said today that he had gone missing from his wine shop on October 11.
He was last seen with a regular customer Mark Perry who was later found dead. On the basis of the investigation and clues from the mobile phone of Perry, Patel’s body has also been recovered.
Police was trying to solve the murder mystery. Sanjay owned two departmental stores and a grocery store also.
Earlier on Friday last a 15 year old Gujarati boy living in the US was shot dead by a black looter in Ohio city. Sunny Patel, son of Ravi Patel, a non resident Gujarati and native of Demol village under Petlad takuka of Anand district in central Gujarat, was shot at in a restaurant where he had gone after school.
Over a dozen persons of Gujarati origin have been murdered in the US in last one and a half year.
