Ahmedabad: Reacting to Congress party’s bandh and agitation call over centre’s demonetization move, Gujarat BJP today said while people of this country are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi led BJP government, it is unfortunate that Congress and other parties are opposing him.

State BJP spokesperson Bharat Pandya in a statement issued here said, on one hand lakhs of employees of thousands of banks are working hard day and night for note exchange, the Congress party wants to paralyze entire system by giving bandh call.

Pandya said people of this country are even after facing difficulty extending cooperation to ensure success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s historical decision in order to eliminate black money, corruption and bogus notes, while on other hand Congress and other political parties think that if this move achieves success, they will have to wind up their parties.

Pandya said people of Gujarat and this nation are very well aware about the intentions of Congress party.
