Gujarat Congress postponed strike call as it failed to get support from people: Gujarat BJP

Ahmedabad: Gujarat BJP today said Congress party had to postpone its strike call because it failed to get support from people.
In a statement issued here, state BJP president said Congress had no other option left but to rollback its strike call due to lack of support from people who have widely welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s action aimed at elimination of black money.
State BJP president further said that for last three days, Congress party through various agitation programmes was trying to disturb peaceful atmosphere in Gujarat but common people clearly indicated that they are strongly with the step government has taken in national interest. To save its prestige, Congress had to withdraw its strike call therefore.
