Daman: Sitting BJP Lok Sabha MP from Daman Diu seat Lalubhai Patel has announced his decision, not to contest the Lok Sabha election next year.

Lalu Patel made this announcement before local BJP workers gathered to celebrate Centre’s decision to given approval to government medical hospital in Daman Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli.

Lalubhai said he is dedicated worker of BJP and he will work for victory of whoever is the BJP candidate for Daman Diu seat.

Lalubhai said he had conveyed his decision not to contest Lok Sabha election in 2019 a year ago to party.
