UP CM Yogi writes to Gujarat govt for land to build UP Bhavan near Statue of Unity

Lucknow: As per an agency report, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has written a letter to Gujarat Chief Minister seeking land for the construction of Uttar Pradesh Bhawan at `Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat’ complex which will come up near `Statue of Unity’ at Kavedia in Gujarat.
“This is a great proposal of the Gujarat government allowing different state governments to build their own `Bhawans’ at `Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat complex’.
This suggestion is commendable,” Yogi said in his letter which was issued to the press on Wednesday. In his letter Yogi said that earlier too on September 12, 2018 the UP Government has written a letter asking for land around Statue of Unity.
The tallest statue of Sardar Vallabh Bahi Patel, to be called `Statue of unity’ is going to be unveiled on October 31.
