Making of Dwarka’s new Rs 1 crore Golden throne(Video)

Above video is on making of Lord Dwarkadhish’s Rs 1 crore golden throne by North Gujarat’s Kanbha village based Kanaiyalal Mevada family. 20 members of Kaniayalal Mevada family worked hard day and night to complete the work of making the golden throne within two months limit.
The throne in the video is going to be dedicated to Lord Dwarkadhish temple by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi at Dwarka on December 12th. The Golden throne would replace existing silver throne in the temple.
Precious material for making new throne includes 6.5 Kg gold and 50 kg silver. All the cost for new throne is sponsored by a devotee Babubhai Rabari who is also a BJP MLA from Kankrej constituency.
The throne has excellent carving that depicts Sun,Moon,Gopis,Cows,Peacock and Lord Ganeshji.
December 12th is a full moon day(Poonam) according to the Gujarati/Hindu calender. Babubhai is going to organize a grand celebration on this occasion in which 15000 devotees are expected to take part. All the hotels in Dwarka are booked on this day.
