Controversial suspended IPC cop Sanjiv Bhatt today appeared in Jamkhmbhalia fast track court during the hearing of 1990 Jamjodhpur murder case. Bhatt is facing murder charge with other cops in this case.
The court will further hear the case on 9 December.
In today’s hearing, Bhatt’s lawyer sought some details from the court in reference to charges that are likely to be framed against Bhatt.
As one Dipak Jani who had pointed allegations against Bhatt was absent today from hearing due to wedding function the proceeding could not go ahead today.
In Ahmedabad, the district court reserved its order on remand review petition in Sanjiv Bhatt case till 31 December.
It should be mentioned that in affidavit case lodged in Ahmedabad’s Ghatlodia police station, the police had demanded remand of Bhatt which the court denied.
Therefore a review petition was admitted demanding reversal of rural court’s order.
Today hearing in this case was over, the order will be out on 31 December.
