Interesting: names and positions of few Gujaratis in ‘Most powerful Indians’ list of Indian Express

The Indian Express list of the most powerful Indians in 2012 is out.

Nehru-Gandhi dynasty rules at the top with Rahul occupying no.1 position followed by Sonia at no.2. The Prime Minister is on no.3 position while RSS Chief Mohan Bhagawat(who controls Gujarat’s most powerful man Narendra Modi) is at 4th position followed by Sushma at 5th, Jaitley(MP from Gujarat) at 6th and Mamta at 7th position. Union ministers Pranabda, Antony, Chidu are at 8, 9 and 10th position respectively while Principal Secretary to the PM(Sonia’s man in PM office) is on 11th position.

Then come Gujarati bhais. Mukesh Ambani at 12th, Narendra Modi on 14th, Ratan Tata at 15th, Supreme Court of India’s Chief Justice SH Kapadia at 16th position. In between Nitish at 13th and Anna at 17th position.

Interestingly the Director of the CBI is on 18th position ahead of Mulayam on 19th, Akhilesh Yadav on 20th and Jaya on 21.

Another Gujarat settled in Karnataka, Aziz Premji is occupying 22nd position while Priyanka is on 23rd position.

The most powerful Gujarati in Delhi, Ahmed Patel is on 26th position. Gadkari on 28th. Political aid of Rahul Gandhi, Kanishka Singh is on 31st position ahead of Mayavati on 35th, Raman Singh on 33rd, Advani on 39th, Sheila on 45th, Navin Patnaik on 46th and Sharad Pawar on 50th position.

BJP’s another Modi, Sushil Kumar Modi from Bihar is on 52nd position while Ambani Anilbhai is sitting on 54th position.

Modi’s biggest known fan in Maharashtra, Raj Thackeray is on 58th position followed by Aamir khan on 59th, Dhoni on 30th, Salman Khan on 65, Shivraj Singh Chouhan on 68th, ToI chief Jain brothers on 67th, Chairman of Hindustan Times on 71th, Sri Sri on 75th, Baba Ramdev at 85th, Sachin at 88th, Swamy at 87th.

Gujarati bahu Nita Ambani is on 82nd rank. She is also on 9th place in the top 10 powerful persons in sports in the country as per the list.

Oh oh, and K Kailashnathan, Principal Secretary to Narendra Modi is on 10th position of India’s most powerful Bureaucrats.
