The Gujarat government should file review petition against Supreme Court order on translocation of lions to Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat Congress said today in a statement.
According to Gujarat Congress spokesperson Manish Doshi, a gang of poachers from Madhya Pradesh was found guilty in the last incident of poaching of lions in Gujarat’s Gir sanctuary. Now when the court has directed to translocate lions to Madhya Pradesh itself, there’s a question mark on their safety there.
He demanded that the state government should file review petition or curative petition in this case immediately.
