372 Christian Minority Group-run schools operational in Gujarat; State-wise data here

New Delhi: A total of 372 schools are being run by the Christian Minority Group in the state of Gujarat, the Minister of State for Education, Jayant Chaudhary, stated today in Lok Sabha.
In response to a question during the ongoing winter session of Parliament, the Minister, while sharing the state-wise table of Christian Minority Group-run schools, said, “Education is a subject in the Concurrent List of the Constitution. Schools, other than those owned/funded by the Central Government, are under the jurisdiction of the respective State Governments. The specific information/data on convent schools is not maintained in this Ministry, however, the data on the number of schools run by the Christian Minority Group, both State-wise and district-wise for Rajasthan, is placed at Matters relating to the financial management, audit etc of private schools and related issues are regulated in terms of Rules and Instructions of the respective State Government concerned.”
