File tracking system in govt offices soon in Gujarat:Minister

The Gujarat government will implement file tracking system in government offices. This announcement was made by state Revenue minister in Surat. The minister said the tracking system will provide details of current status of file online. The minister said that combination of tracking system and CCTV cameras will provide better transparency and eliminate the menace of middle men.
The minister launched a mobile application (app) of Surat Municipal Corporation(SMC). The application provides online payment facility for property tax, professional tax, water meter charge. It provides facility to book complain on civic issues and all necessary details regarding SMC including the detail of Ukai dam.
The minister dedicated Rs. 74.93 crore development projects including Anjana farm railway over bridge, widening of Dindoli-Kharvasa creek bridge, multilevel parking at Muglisara. The Minister performed ground breaking for Rs. 244 crore projects including a river bridge, staff quarters, lake development and anganwadi building.
