Stay on alert during night, do ensure there’s no panicky among people:CM to Vadodara administration

Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today evening reached Vadodara to review the flood situation. She held a meeting at circuit house in which local MLA and minister Saurabh Patel, senior minister Nitin Patel, Municipal Commissioner, Police Commissioner, Collector, District Police Chief, District Development Officer among others were present.
Anandiben received briefing from administration on various issues including drinking water, power supply, road transportation, relocation of people to safer places, food packet distribution etc. She issued necessary instructions to local administration on these and other issues.
Anandiben asked local administration to stay on alert during night time and asked to ensure that there’s no panicky in people.
She asked to take proper care of relocated families, especially the children, and provide them proper food and health service. She asked to supply water tankers where conventional water supply has adversely affected.
Minister Nitin Patel asked administration to stay on alert in view of weather department’s forecast of heavy rainfall in next 48 hours.
Minister Saurabh Patel issued necessary instructions.
At 9.00 pm on Tuesday, the level of Vishwamitri river was 29.6 ft in Vadodara, well above 26 ft danger mark. The level was continuously on rise.
