This is absolutely a good news for Vadodara city. As Ministry of Railways has decided to provide commercial stoppages to Duronto Express trains, eight trains will now stop at Vadodara railway station. Earlier these trains were just passing through Vadodara, but now they will stop here. It means newer connectivity. And this connectivity is just amazing, as it provides three new trains for non-stop journey to Mumbai, and three for non-stop return journey. Also this new development will offer smooth connectivity to Pune, Lonavala, New Delhi, Kota, Ujjain, Indore, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur and Ratlam. While journey to Mumbai, Ratlam and Vasai road will be non-stop from Vadodara, the journey to Delhi, Indore, Jaipur and other destinations will be faster due to just two stoppages in the middle. The changes will be effective from 1st January onward.

New connectivity to Ratlam(non-stop), Kota, New Delhi, Mumbai(non-stop)

– Train No 22209 Mumbai Central—New Delhi AC Duronto Express leaving Mumbai Central from 1/1/16 onwards will halt at Vadodara at 3.52 hrs, Ratlam at 7.35 hrs and Kota at 10.30 hrs.

– In the return direction Train No 22210 New Delhi -Mumbai Central AC Duronto Express leaving New Delhi from 2/1/16 onwards will halt at Kota at 4.15 hrs, Ratlam at 7.35 hrs and Vadodara at 11.11 hrs.

New connectivity to Ratlam(non-stop), Ujjain, Indore, Mumbai(non-stop)

– Train No 12227 Mumbai Central-Indore AC Duronto Express leaving Mumbai Central from 31/12/15 onwards will halt at Vadodara at 3.52 hrs, Ratlam at 7.35 hrs and Ujjain at 9.25 hrs.

– In the return direction, Train No 12228 Indore-Mumbai Central AC Duronto Express leaving Indore from 1/1/16 onwards will halt at Ujjain at 00.15 hrs, Ratlam at 1.50 hrs and Vadodara at 5.50 hrs.

New connectivity to Jaipur, Mumbai(non-stop), Ratlam(non-stop), Sawai Madhopur

– Train No 12239 Mumbai Central-Jaipur AC Duronto Express leaving Mumbai Central from 3/1/16 onwards will halt at Vadodara at 3.52 hrs, Ratlam at 7.35 hrs and Sawai Madhopur at 12.15 hrs.

– In the return direction Train No 12240 Jaipur-Mumbai Central AC Duronto Express leaving Jaipur from 5/1/16 onwards will halt at Sawai Madhopur at 20.55 hrs, Ratlam at 1.50 hrs and Vadodara at 5.50 hrs.

New connectivity to Pune, Delhi, Lonavala, Vasai Road(non-stop), Ratlam(non-stop_, Kota

12263 Pune – Hazrat Nizamuddin Express connecting Pune to Delhi will stop at Lonavala, Vasai, Road, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Delhi

Vadodara will be benefited in return journey too.
