Gandhinagar
The Anti-Corruption Bureau(ACB) of Gujarat which was recently in news for highest ever cases against corrupt persons during year 2015, for the first time used a drone to conduct aerial survey of the route used by truckers to bypass Samkhiyali RTO check post in Kutch district.
The ACB has started conducting aerial survey to keep watch over the 6 km long secret route which is used by overloaded trucks to escape RTO check post where they need to pay fine otherwise.
It should be noted that the ACB had last month detained 64 trucks, 7 operators and 7 truck drivers for bypassing the RTO checkpost via 6 km secret route. Similar operation was also held in other border districts.
