Shri Atul Purohit, Shri Shahbuddin Rathod are among those whose names are announced for Sangeet Natak Akademy Gaurav Puraskar for year 2014-15 by Gujarat government.

Shri Vijang Maheta, Dr Hema Kapildev Shukla, Smt Aditi Desai are to be awarded for their contribution to theater while Hemant Pannalal Gandharva, Shambhu Mehta and Atul Purohit are to be awarded for their contribution to the field of music. Hemadri Udayan, Dr Nikhil Bhatt and Rucha Bhatt are selected as awardee in the field of dance. Shri Shahbuddin Rathod, Baldevbhai Dalsukhbhai Nayak and Raghuvir Narhardan Kunchala will be awarded for their contribution to the field of folk art.

Each awardee will be presented Rs 51,000 cash prize, shawl and tampra patra.
