Una row: Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel visits Rajkot Civil Hospital

Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today visited the Rajkot Civil Hospital Surgical Ward to personally enquire about the course of treatment to Dalits injured in the atrocity against them at Una last week.

She assured the Dalits from Samdhiyala village of the steps the government has taken up for early justice in the Una incident. She directed the hospital administration to provide best possible medical treatment to the Dalits. The patients are Ashokbhai Vijalbhai Sarvaiya, VAshrambhai Balubhai Sarvaiya, Rameshbhai Balubhai Sarvaiya and Becharbhai Ukabhai Sarvaiya.

Mrs. Patel was accompanied by Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Ramanbhai Vora, Minister of State Jasabhai Barad, Mayor Jaimanbhai Upadhyay, MLA Bhanuben Babaria, City BJP President Kamlesh Mirani, Chief Secretary G.R. Aloria, Chief Minister’s Chief Principal Secretary K. Kailashnathan, Police Commissioner Anupam Singh Gehlot, Collector Vikrant Pandey and others.
