Veraval Sessions Judge court declared as designated court for Una case

Gandhinagar: As per her earlier announcement, Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has completed the procedure of formation of designated court to hear the Una atrocity case.
The legal department of Government of Gujarat has today issued notification for formation of designated court at Veraval in Gir-Somnath district in consultation of Gujarat High Court. With this decision legal procedure will become speedier.
The state government has with immediate effect announced Sessions Judge court in Veraval town of Gir Somnath district as Special Court in consultation with the Gujarat High Court under Schedule Caste and the Schedule Tribe(Prevention of Atrocity) act 1989(33 to 1989).
