Congress suspends three in Kerala for calf slaughter in public

Thiruvananthapuram: A day after party vice president Rahul Gandhi in a tweet condemned the cow slaughter act by Youth Congress workers in Kerala, Youth Congress Kannur mandalam president Rijil Makkutty and leaders Sharafudeen, Josy Kandathil were suspended from the organization for the action of slaughtering a calf in public and distributing its cooked meat in protest against centre’s decision to ban sale and purchase of cattle. KPCC chief M M Hassan confirmed this decision.
In another development, the Kannur city police registered a case against the three with court’s permission following the complaint of Yuva Morcha district general secretary C C Ratheesh. They were booked under IPC Section 428 and section (ii) of the PCA Act 1960.

Meanwhile Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani took twitter rout to condemn the Congress action of slaughter of a calf.He tweeted:
