Kerala Cow-slaughter incident: effigies of Sonia, Rahul and Congress burnt

Rajkot/Surat: Amid the continuing anger against the Kerala ‘cow slaughter incident’, effigies of party president Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi were burnt in Rajkot and Surat cities today.
A day after the attack on Congress office in Vadodara by a said Hindu outfit, a cow protection group Gau Raksha Dal today burnt the effigy of the party at Trikonbaug crossing in Rajkot. They also warned of wider agitation. They also waived placards with anti Congress session
In Surat city Bajrang Dal activist burnt effigies of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi near Sosyo circle in Udhana area close to the city office of Congress. They shouted anti-Congress slogans demanding strict action against the party workers and leaders who were involved in the Kerala cow slaughter incident.
In Piplod are of Surat also Hindu Vahini activists held demonstration against the incident and shouted anti Congress slogans.
