Rajkot: More details are arriving regarding Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Rajkot visit on June 28.

The Prime Minister will depart from the Aaji dam site from airport in road show style. He will be welcomed by around one million people on 8 km road stretch from Aaji dam to airport. Likely route of the road show is Aaji dam – Chunaravad – Parevdi Chowk, Delux Chowk, Hospital chowk, Bahumali Bhavan – Airport.

As many as 10,000 bikers will lead the road show from front. There will be around dozen selfie points on the route.

The Prime Minister will attend a Divyang Sahay camp in which he will distribute equipment to 21,000 divyangs(handicapped or differently abled).

The Prime Minister will then move to Aaji dam – 1 site where he will welcome the waters of Narmada.

Aaji will start receiving Narmada waters from 21 June itself.

The main source of water for Rajkot city, Aaji dam will be receiving Narmada water under SAUNI project, conceived and launched by Shri Narendra Modi when he was Chief Minister. Dedicated Narmada water supply to Aaji will resolve the problem of water in Rajkot permanently.

Aaji dam site will witness 3 lakh oil-lamps aarti and other events ahead of Prime Minister’s arrival.

The city of Rajkot will be decorated like Diwali on arrival of Prime Minister Shri Modi.
