Ahmedabad: Lakhs of citizens continued with World record breaking Yoga event even as it started raining in Ahmedabad early in the morning today. The Yoga session today morning started with a speech of Bhaishri Ramesh Oza.Later oil lamp was lit by deputy chief minister Nitin Patel, former chief minister Anandiben Patel, chief secretary, Mayor, minister and others. Chief Minister Vijay RUpani arrived little late with BJP president Amit Shah. Rupani and Shah joined Ramdev and Rameshbhai Oza on the stage during the Yoga event. Ramdev called Amit Shah a sources of inspiration for today’s Yoga event. Among those on the ground were High Court Judges, bureaucrats and others. The event saw some disruption when it started raining. People were seen putting their Yoga mates over head. However the event continued even amid rain. Ramdev in reference t Amit Shah said Amitbhai has gained political weight but lost body weight(due to Yoga). Ramdev said Amitbhai takes Aamla and Aloe vera in the morning and he doesn’t take food post 7 pm. Ramdev said both Amitbhai and Narendrabhai perform Yoga everyday throughout the year and everybody should do it. A book written by Ramdev aide Acharya Balkrishna who was in Assam today was released today in this function which was later addressed by Governor at the end. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s live speech from Ramabai Ambedkar ground in Lucknow was relayed live in video at GMDC ground where Ramdev’s Yoga camp was going on. Both Ramdev and Rameshbhai Oza freely admired the Prime Minister in their speeches. Ramdev said Morari Bapu was to come here but couldn’t due to some engagement elsewhere. Performance by Ramdev’s gurukul students at the ground was special attraction of the event. Ramdev said around three lakh people performed Yoga today here. This was the biggest day of Yoga in his life. Speaking early in the morning before sun rise, Rameshbhai Oza said he had seen Karnavati(Ahmedabad) awake in Brahm Muhurat time in such a big number for the first time today.
