I have not broken any discipline of the party by attending Vaghela’s event: MLA Raghavji Patel

Gandhinagar: Congress MLA from Jamnagar Raghavji Patel, who had participated in the Sam Samvedana sammelan of Shankersinh Vaghela here on his birthday defying party’s ban, said that he has not broken any discipline of the party.
Talking to newsmen, Patel said that he had attended an event on the occasion of the birthday of the leader of the party who at the time of it was still the leader of opposition.
‘This for no angle amounts to breaking the party discipline,’ he claimed.
‘Even after that if the party desires to take disciplinary action, it is up to it,’ Raghavji a staunch Vaghela supporter said.
The second MLA who attended the party and son of Vaghela, Mahendrasinh has said that as a son it was his supreme duty to be with his father and he did not care for its consequences.
Notably, only 3 MLAs including Patel and Mahendrasingh and Vaghela himself had attended the meeting.
