Gandhinagar: Amid the ongoing heavy to very heavy spells of rain Gujarat has crossed the half way mark with regard to the average seasonal monsoon rain percentage.

According to the official rainfall figures till 8 am this morning the state has received 51.36% rain.

Kutch region has got highest 71.67 % while the East Central Gujarat has received minimum 35.72% so far. Saurashtra region has received 66%, South Gujarat 47.72%, and North Gujarat 48.08%.

Morbi is the district with highest rain percentage of 123.30% while amount wise Valsad was at the top with 1358mm.
