JSW Energy Ltd to set up Rs 4,000 crore electric vehicle plant in Gujarat; MoU signed

Gandhinagar: Memorandum of understanding(MoU) between Gujarat government and JSW Energy Ltd(Jindal Group) was signed today here in presence of State Chief Minister for electric vehicles manufacturing at Vanod near Dasada in Surendranagar district of Gujarat.
The project will be set up with investment of Rs 4,000 crore. It will create direct employment opportunity for 2,000 and indirect for 4,000 – in total 6,000 locals.
Gujarat government has given in-principal nod for granting needed permissions, clearance etc through related departments.
