Gujarat govt to launch ‘1962’ Karuna Ambulance Service for injured cattle and birds

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has announced launch of Karuna Animal Ambulance Service for treatment of injured cattle-birds in emergency situation.
The service is modeled on 108 emergency service for humans. Assigned dial number of this service is 1962. It is a toll free number.
Chief Minister Rupani will launch this statewide service on October 6 from capital Gandhinagar.
Gujarat government offers cattle health services through polyclinics, animal dispensaries and primary cattle health centers across 33 districts.
