Lawyers remain away from court work in Jamnagar and other places to protest against the brutal murder of advocate Kirit Joshi

Advocates of Jamnagar and various other district and taluka courts across Saurashtra and Gujarat today did not participate in court work to protest against the brutal murder of senior advocate Kirit Joshi near his office in Jamnagar this Saturday night.
Joshi was stabbed to death near his office close to townhall.
The advocates of Jamnagar district and sessions court completely remained aloof from work today on the call of district bar association to protest against the incident and demanding strict and quick action against culprits.
Advocates in other courts including Morbi, Bhuj, Dwarka, Khambaliya, Jamjodhpur, Mahesana, Rajpipala and several other places also did not participate in court work.
As various places including Rajkot the lawyers did not participate in court works accept for the urgent matters.
Notably, the family members of Joshi have alleged that notorious builder Jayesh Patel was the main conspirator of his murder.
