DGP Shivanand Jha hands over Advocate Kirit Joshi murder case to Ahmedabad Crime Branch

DGP Shivanand Jha has handed over the investigation of advocate Kirit Joshi murder case to the crime branch of Ahmedabad police which has cracked many blind-cases and mysterious crimes.
An official of the crime branch today said that the DGP has handed over the investigation of the sensational killing of the senior criminal lawyer of Jamnagar to Ahmedabad crime branch.
Notably, Joshi was brutally stabbed to death in the night of April 28 while he came out of his office near town-hall in Jamnagar. His family members had in a written complaint alleged that notorious builder Jayesh Patel was behind this sensational murder.
Joshi, died in GG hospital after an unknown man attacked him near his office close to townhall at around 9 pm. He had suffered multiple blows of a sharp-edged weapon. The attacker fled the scene on the bike of his partner. The whole incident was captured in a CCTV installed close to the spot.
Family members of Joshi have alleged that Patel, who was accused in a sensational Rs 100 crore land dispute here, was the main conspirator.
Series of protests including those by lawyer community and outfits of Brahma samaj were held against the killing of Joshi.
Jamnagar Police has not yet got any break-through in the case.
