Rajkot: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani inaugurated the superfast Mumbai-Rajkot Duranto A.C train from Rajkot railway station today.

The Rajkot-Mumbai Duranto train No.12268 will start at 7:05 pm and stop at Ahmedabad and Surendranagar and reach Mumbai at 6:00 am on the next day. The Mumbai-Rajkot Duranto train No. 12269 will start at 11:25 pm from Mumbai, stop at Ahmedabad and Surendranagar and reach Rajkot at 11:00 am the next day.

On behalf of each and every person of Saurashtra, Rupani wholeheartedly thanked Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi for his support in the same. He also said that the train will open new doors of development for Saurashtra and urged the people to take advantages of various developmental projects and schemes of the government in the region.

Rupani also thanked the Minister of Railways (Central Government) Mr. Piyush Goyal.
