Seychelles vice president visits sports school in Kutch, participates in Parjanya Yagna

Bhuj: Vice president of island nation Seychelles Mr. Vincent Meriton was on one-day visit to Kutch district of Gujarat on Monday. He visited Surya Sports Academy in Sedata which is being developed by Seychelles based Gujarati Vishrambhai Patel.
On invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vishrambhai had visited Sanskardham school in Ahmedabad and decided to build Rs 80 crore school with sports facility in his native place Kutch.
Seychelles Vice president also attended Parjanya Yagna organized by local BJP Lok Sabha MP Vinod Chavda at Bhutnath Mandir in Bhuj. Vice president’s wife also joined him in Yagna ceremony. Parjyanya Yagna is performed to invite rain.
