Gujarat govt gives in-principle approval to Bhadar river bridge, box-culvert in poll-bound Jasdan

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has given in-principle approval to Rs 2.60 crore major bridge over river Bhadar and box culvert channel in poll-bound Jasdan in Rajkot district of Saurashtra region.
A new river bridge will benefit around 25% citizens of Jasdan town who live on the other side of river Bhadar. It will come up at the location of Dr. Ambedkar nagar Lohiya nagar causeway.
Also approved by the government today is construction of a box culvert near the main road of Shivnagar society on Vinchhiya road.
Approvals for these works are given at the level of Chief Minister Office according to government statement.
These works will be done through grant from Swarnim Yojana under the Gujarat Urban Development Mission.
