Private land acquisition for railway line to Statue of Unity to complete in 8 months: GM of WR

Vadodara: Land acquisition for laying a new railway line between Dabhoi and Kevadia(Statue of Unity) will take 8 more months, said A.K.Gupta, general manager of Western Railways. He said laying of railway line is progressing speedily and government land has been acquired for this purpose fully. However at some places private land need to be acquired for which all details are ready. Acquisition of private land will be completed in next 8 months, he added.
