Gujarat Chief Minister reacts to victory of BJP in Jasdan by-election

Gandhinagar: Reacting to BJP’s victory in Jasdan by-election, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in his media address at State party headquarters Kamalam here pointed out that:
– BJP candidate has won with double margin this time compared to his previous victory a year ago as Congress candidate.
– BJP candidate was ahead of his rival across all the rounds of counting of votes. This indicates that BJP candidate won across all the sections, communities and areas.
– Jasdan is majorly a rural constituency. This victory also indicates support of rural voters for BJP.
– Congress’s falsehoods, lies and dramas in name of farmers failed work.
– Farmers has extended support to State government through this election.
– Today’s Jasdan verdict also indicates Saurashtra’s temperament.
– Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) has reached 100 figure in Gujarat assembly with today’s verdict. The party is now having 3-digit strength in the assembly.
– This verdict further indicates that BJP is going to retain all 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat in upcoming general elections of Lok Sabha next year.
– We wanted result only to speak and result is speaking today.
