Ahmedabad: A local court here today issued summons to Congress President Rahul Gandhi in connection with a defamation case lodged by a BJP corporator here for his statement against party president Amit Shah terming him a ‘murder accused’.
The Court of Metropolitan Magistrate D.S. Dabhi issued the summons to the congress president and fixed the next date of hearing for July 9. The case has been filed by BJP Corporator of the AMC from Khadia ward in the city, Krishnavadan Brahmbhatt.
