May 27, 2019
Ahmedabad: Congress president Rahul Gandhi was today directed to appear before Ahmedabad Metro court on July 12.
The court had earlier directed Rahul Gandhi to appear in person today in defamation case related to Ahmedabad District Cooperative Bank.
However Rahul in his request said that today was his great grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru’s 55th anniversary and therefore he would not be able to appear in the court. The court granted his request on condition that he would appear on July 12.
