Details of the AMC events in which HM Amit Shah would participate tomorrow

Ahmedabad: Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with CM Vijay Rupani tomorrow participate in two environment related events of AMC organized jointly in Science city road of Sola area of the city
AMC Commissioner Vijay Nehra said that Shah would mark the end of 3 month long campaign mission million tree by planting a tree.
Elaborating about it he said that with an aim to make Ahmedabad, the greenest city in India, during the campaign with public support a million trees have been planted during the three months of monsoon.
‘This mission would continue every year so that in next 3 to 4 years Ahmedabad becomes the greenest city,’ he said.
The union minister would also launch battery run buses in the city on the occasion.
‘He would show green flag to eight of such buses and from tomorrow itself a total of 18 batter run AC buses will start running in the BRTS corridors in the city. In the next month 32 more such state-of-the art buses would also join taking the total number of such buses in the BRTS fleet to 50. This is also a very environment friendly step,’ he said.
A battery charging point/station would also be inaugurated on this occasion.
Shah would participate in the 7 th convocation of PDPU near Gandhinagar in the evening.
