Capital town Gandhinagar to get Police Commissioner

Gandhinagar: Capital town Gandhinagar will get Police Commissioner office. At present Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot are four cities that have Police Commissioners.
Presenting the budget for financial year 2020-21, Nitin Patel said, Gandhinagar which is presently served by District Superintendent of Police (DSP) will get Police Commissioner office while rural areas will be served by Superintendent of Police.
